The beautiful rhythms of the sky and water draw me into a peaceful place where I experience God’s presence. Some call this a “thin place”, where Heaven and Earth meet and seem to be one.

Meditation on Matthew 11:29, Jesus offers to teach us how to rest in His “…unforced rhythms of grace” (from the Message translation). The gentle rhythms of water always take me to that place of rest.

Bright Angel Guardians, is about God’s angels always watching over us as we’re told in Psalm 91:11.

Gentle and vibrant waves woven with joy, praise and prayers reflecting a peaceful place for the soul. The process of weaving is a form of worship and meditation for me and a response to the hope and beauty I see in creation.

Inspired by the early morning stillness , my favorite time of the day. I often think of the verse in Psalm 46:10 “ Be still and know that I am God! The stillness and beauty of the morning sky is a constant inspiration to me.

Some mornings and evenings the sky is so radiant with color it is breathtaking. Sky Song is about such a time when the sky is singing with such vibrant colors.

A reflection of Psalm 91: 4, refuge, shelter, the warm embrace of God, holding us safely in His arms through every storm inspired this piece.

"Mercies at Sunrise" is a prayer of celebration at sunrise, when the sky is painted with incredible light, color and hope for the new day. Inspired by the sunrise and Lamentations 3:23..."his mercies begin afresh each morning."

“Shelter of the Most High” is one of a series of tapestries inspired by Psalm 91, this one particularly about verse 1, “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty”. Shelter and rest seems to be in my prayers constantly these days.

“Beside Still Waters” is inspired by Psalm 23, one very dear to me because my grandmother was reciting this Psalm as she passed from this life to her eternal home with Jesus in Heaven.

Easter morning, 2020 was the inspiration for "Rising Bright Morning Star", about the resurrection of love, light and truth that overcame the darkness. A personal reflection of faith and my constant seeking of that light in the darkest places.

Lake Stories is about the water, sky, rocks and heavenly colors I see and imagine in God’s creation while kayaking.

Inspired by God’s indescribable beauty in creation…colors and shapes in our lake…the view from my kayak.

Colors, shapes, rhythms of rocks, water and sky captivated me flying over my desert home.

Dawn and dusk are my favorite times of day, that moment when the sounds and colors are like no other time of day, a symphony celebrating God’s beginning and ending of each new day

Psalm 91:11 , " For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go."

I pray this over my children and grandchildren every day. I envision angels surrounding each child and watching over them, protecting them and giving them strength.

Words of truth spoken over us at the Sermon on the Mount, God’s blessings going out through eternity.
